Andrew McFarlane


Born, brought up and educated in Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Andrew became Vice-Chair in September 2017. He has resided in Uddingston for the last 26 years.

Professionally educated at Glasgow College of Building and Printing and the Robert Gordon University, Andrew practices as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Building Engineer and Arbitrator. He recently retired as a partner in DM Hall LLP where he remains a Consultant.

He also acts as a Panel Chairman for Assessment of Professional Competence of candidates seeking membership of the RICS. Chairman of Judging Panel for Herald Scottish Property of the Year Awards and is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for Clyde Valley Housing Association.

Non-Executive Director at Aberlour Scotland’s Children’s charity.
